APR 20 ... We depart on our way west and travel through Georgia and Alabama for an overnight in the Magnolia State of Mississippi. Welcome Dinner  (D)

APR 21... NATCHEZ …Traveling across the state to the “Big Muddy”, we stop in historic Vicksburg for a break before arriving in the quaint town of Natchez, situated along the Mississippi River and in the heart of the "cotton belt".  It was here in Natchez that so many of the cotton lords built their palatial homes.  At one time there were more millionaires living here than anywhere else in America.  Our lunch will be a southern tradition, as we dine at the Carriage House, which is part of one of the beautiful historic homes in the center of Natchez. A tour one of the ante bellum mansions highlights our afternoon.  Later we continue into Louisiana and overnight in Alexandria.  (B,L)

APR 22WACO & FIXER-UPPER TOUR … Breakfast and we travel into Texas for an afternoon arrival in Waco.  The city has become so popular with the stars of HGTV living in Waco.  Chip and Joanna Gaines have "fixed up" sections of the area that are now a must see. Our group will enjoy a Trolley Tour that points out many popular spots on the HGTV tour.  Special Dinner.  (B,D)

APR 23 SAN ANTONIO & THE RIVER PARADE ... This morning you will have time in the Silo Market Place and the Spice Market. Later we make or way to the exciting city of San Antonio for a 2 night stay.   Our hotel is located near the Alamo and steps from the famed Riverwalk. Enjoy the excitement of “Fiesta” as we take our reserved seats along the Paseo del Rio, or Riverwalk, for the Texas Cavaliers River Parade. Delight in the scenery and color as dozens of brilliantly lighted and decorated vessels wind their way along the river.   (B)

APR 24 THE ALAMO … San Antonio is one of the most picturesque cities in America, with its old Spanish flavor, multi-cultural people, and its many parks and plazas.  An outstanding feature of the city is the 250 year-old most famous church … the Mission San Antonio de Valero, better known as THE ALAMO.  Our group will get headsets for a tour of the Alamo. The rest of the day is yours to explore the Old Town area by the old town trolley or by foot, and you are in the center of all of the activities for FIESTA.  Dinner is included on the banks of the San Antonio River.   (B,D)

APR 25 …  CAJUN COUNTRY … Breakfast and we travel one state over into the Bayou State and the city of Lafayette. Centered in the heart of Cajun Country, dinner is a special treat and lots of fun as we dine on Cajun Cuisine and dance to the energetic sounds of Cajun music. (B,D)

APR 26 … BEAU RIVAGE … Today we are in store for another interesting tour … a Bayou Cruise in this wild Cajun land. Later we travel into Mississippi for an evening along the Gulf of Mexico in the lovely Beau Rivage Resort and Casino. A fabulous dinner is included. (B,D)
