APR 22 ... We depart on our way west and travel through Georgia and Alabama for an overnight in the Magnolia State of Mississippi.   Dinner  (D)

APR 23... NATCHEZ …Traveling across the state of Mississippi we come to the quaint town of Natchez, situated along the Mississippi River and in the heart of the "cotton belt".  It was here in Natchez that so many of the cotton lords built their palatial homes.  At one time there were more millionaires living here than anywhere else in America.  Our lunch will be a southern tradition, as we dine at the Carriage House, part of one of the beautiful historic homes in the center of Natchez. A tour of another of the ante bellum mansions highlights our afternoon.  Later we continue across Louisiana and overnight.  (B,L)

APR 24 SAN ANTONIO & RIVERWALK … This morning we travel across the backroads of Texas though small town America as we make or way to the exciting city of San Antonio for a 3 night stay.  Our hotel is located near the Alamo and steps from the famed Riverwalk.  Dinner is included on the banks of the San Antonio River before we take our seats for the Coronation of the Queen for the Fiesta.   (B,D)

APR 25 THE ALAMO & RIVER PARADE … San Antonio is one of the most picturesque cities in America, with its old Spanish flavor, multi-cultural people, and its many parks and plazas.  An outstanding feature of the city is the 250 year-old most famous church … the Mission San Antonio de Valero, better known as THE ALAMO.  The day is yours to explore the Old Town area by the old town trolley or by foot, and you are in the center of all of the activities for FIESTA.  Enjoy the excitement of “Fiesta” at Night in Ole San Antonio with food vendors and craft booths and entertainment.(B)

APR 26BANDERA …This morning we travel into the beautiful Hill Country of Texas. Our destination is the “Cowboy Capital of the World”, the western town of Bandera, with the Long Branch Saloon, the Silver Dollar Saloon, and hitching posts for horses. Enjoy exploring the town before we head past blooming bluebonnets and on to historic German village of Fredericksburg. You’ll have time to explore the town, sample some German foods, before returning to San Antonio. Enjoy your last night along the Riverwalk.  (B)

APR 27 …  CAJUN COUNTRY … Breakfast and we travel one state over into the Bayou State and the city of Lafayette. Centered in the heart of Cajun Country, dinner is a special treat and lots of fun as we dine on Cajun Cuisine and dance to the energetic sounds of Cajun music. (B,D)   

APR 28… BEAU RIVAGE … This morning is highlighted by a cruise into a nearby bayou, exploring the swampy lands of this interesting culture of the Cajuns. Later we travel to the shores along the Gulf of Mexico and check into the lovely Beau Rivage Resort and Casino. A fabulous buffet dinner is included. (B,D)

APR 29 ... We return home after an exciting trip west during the springtime.   (B)
