DAY 2 … SHRIMP BOAT CRUISE & SHRIMP BOIL … The pride and heritage of Biloxi comes alive with a morning Shrimp boat excursion that showcases one of the local industries. Upon leaving the harbor, the shrimping net is set out with full details of how and what makes the net spread and operate correctly. The net will catch any and all sea creatures in its path along with the shrimp. The varieties range from Blue Crabs, Flounder, Stingray, Oysterfish, Squid, Pufferfish and numerous other species of local marine life. The entire catch will be identified and presented for your inspection by the Captain. Upon the return to the docks, our group will then enjoy a SHRIMP BOIL luncheon on the pier.  Remainder of the day is your leisure. (B,L)

DAY 3CAJUN COUNTRY … Breakfast and we Motorcoach to the colorful Cajun Country of Louisiana. This afternoon is highlighted by a cruise into the bayous, exploring the swampy lands of this interesting culture of the Cajuns. Lafayette is centered in the heart of Cajun Country, so dinner is a special treat and lots of fun as we dine on Cajun Cuisine and dance to the energetic sounds of Cajun music at Prejeans. (B,D)

DAY 4 …  DINNER ALONG THE RIVERWALK … Breakfast and we make our way across Louisiana into the "Lone Star State" passing Houston in route to the exciting city of San Antonio for a 2 night stay.  Our hotel is located near the Alamo, and only steps from the famed Riverwalk.  Tonight enjoy dinner along the famed River Walk overlooking the San Antonio River.    (B,D)

DAY 5 SAN ANTONIO & THE ALAMO … San Antonio is one of the most picturesque cities in America, with its old Spanish flavor, multi-cultural people, and its many parks and plazas.  An outstanding feature of the city is the 250 year-old most famous church … the Mission San Antonio de Valero, better known as THE ALAMO.  We tour the Alamo with head-sets narrating its history, and then hope on one of the riverboats for a cruise through the center of town. The rest of the day is yours to explore the Old Town area by the old town trolley or by foot, and you are in the center of all of the shopping, restaurants, and historic sites.      (B)
