 DAY 1 …We begin our journey to Virginia traveling through the Carolinas and arriving in historic Williamsburg for the evening. Welcome Dinner and it’s time to get to know our fellow travelers.  (D)

DAY 2 …Virginia and the surrounding area is so rich in history, as we travel back to the 1700’s in our visit to Williamsburg, first Capital of the Colonies.  Authentically restored  by the Rockefeller Foundation, Williamsburg offers its visitors an opportunity to share the history, culture, cuisine, and architecture of the Colonial period of our country.  We will tour the Governor's Palace, Old Bruton Parish Church, the Capitol, and the shops of artisans and craftsmen.  Lunch is a treat in one of the historic restored Taverns on the Duke of Gloucester Street. After some shopping and exploring time, we travel to Fredericksburg in northern Virginia for the next 2 nights.  Enjoy an OPTIONAL dinner show at the Riverside Theatre tonight. (B,L)

DAY 3 … Breakfast and we are off for a visit to the District of Columbia and our nation's capital. You will have a chance to see the many memorials and monuments along the mall area hopefully in a background of colorful cherry blossoms. Our afternoon is highlighted by a tram ride into Arlington National Cemetery to witness the Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Special Dinner in DC before returning to our hotel. (B,D)

DAY 4 … We travel west through the mountains of Virginia and into West Virginia for an unforgettable and beautiful experience. Your home is the world class 5-Star resort located in White Sulphur Springs, WV… the amazing GREENBRIER.  Our arrival this afternoon is highlighted by The Bunker Tour, as we are guided through the top secret Government Relocation Facility that was built under the Greenbrier Resort during the “Cold War” years.  Tonight dine in style with a gourmet dinner and orchestra entertainment in the evening.  Be pampered and enjoy it!  The Greenbrier has also added their Casino Club.  Described as Monte Carlo meets Gone with the Wind, the premier West Virginia casino combines high-roller thrills and high-class style to create an unforgettable Greenbrier gaming experience. DAY 5… A huge and delicious breakfast is served this morning as we prepare four our departure.  Later we travel back home with a new appreciation of our country, its beginnings and the history, the beauty of our land, and of course, THE GREENBRIER(B)
