DAY 1 … We Travel into the Blue Ridge Mountains and on to Virginia to the historic town of Abingdon. This is the oldest settlement west of the Allegany Mountains. We enjoy a performance at the legendary Barter Theatre. Established during the Depression years, guests were allowed to trade their produce for a ticket to see a show.  Later we overnight in the area with dinner.  D

DAY 2 … An exciting morning as our group tours the Bristol Speedway and we actually take a lap on the racetrack. Later we travel north along the Country Music Trail and the scenery should be spectacular. We arrive in the town of Pikeville, very famous for the feud between the Hatfields & McCoys. A local guide will show us the town and tell the story of this family fight.  Dinner and entertainment tonight.   B,D

DAY 3 … So many Country Music stars have come from this area. One of the most famous is Loretta Lynn, the "Coal Miner's Daughter". We will visit Butcher Holler and see the primitive home where she lived. Leaving the mountains, we travel into Blue Grass Country and on to Williamstown. Not far from here is the amazing ARK ENCOUNTER, with a re-construction of Noah's Ark. The centerpiece of this inspirational location, this exhibit is a full scale model from the Genesis Flood narrative…510 ft long, 85 ft wide, and 81 ft high. Witness animals, exhibits, and be intrigued by the size of the Ark as you walk aboard.  We spend the night in northern Kentucky and enjoy a Dinner Cruise on the Ohio River.  B,D

DAY 4 … Breakfast and we travel to Louisville for a luncheon treat at the Derby Dinner Playhouse, followed by a matinee performance on stage. Later we continue into Tennessee to Nashville. Another dinner is included at the Nashville Nightlife Theatre and a Country Music Show to top off a very entertaining day.   B,L,D

DAY 5 … Return home after a wonderful musical adventure featuring mountains, the Blue Grass, great rivers, and lots more.  Lunch at Buckners   B,L
