The group enjoys a Dinner Cruise on the Hudson River tonight. (B,D)

DAY 3ST LAWRENCE CRUISE / MONTREAL …Traveling through up-state New York, we cross the border into Canada. Everyone must practice speaking in French because the province of Quebec adopts French as their first language. Clearing customs it's on to Montreal, the province's most populated city and the largest French-speaking city in the world after Paris. It is situated on an island in the St. Lawrence River. Overnight in this almost European environment. (B)

DAY 4 … A local guide presents the city with an interesting tour that ends on the waterfront. He we board a sightseeing boat for a cruise on the St Lawrence River to get a different perspective of Montreal. Later we Motorcoach north along the river and arrive in one of North America’s most beautiful and historic cities.  The ancient and walled city of Quebec will be our home for a 2 night stay, and our hotel is only a short walk  into "Old Town". (B)

DAY 5OLD QUEBEC … Today will be one of the many highlights of the trip as we tour this first great settlement of Canada and the oldest walled city in North America.  Founded in 1608, and still decidedly French, with cobblestone streets, outdoor cafes, quaint parks with artists and street entertainers, Quebec City is the closest thing to a European city you'll find without crossing the ocean.  The afternoon is at leisure to enjoy the many attractions of Old Town, and tonight we dine at one of the city's fine French restaurants.  (B,D)

DAY 6OTTAWA … Continuing to Ottawa in the province of Ontario, we are now in the English-speaking part of Canada and our afternoon tour includes the Parliament Buildings, the Governor General's mansion, and the many parks surrounding the city. Tonight have time in Byward Market with its many stalls of flowers, Canadian handicrafts, and sidewalk cafesDinner in the Market area. (B,D)

DAY 7 1000 ISLAND CRUISE … Our journey leads west, with a stop in Gananoque for a cruise along the Thousand Islands...narrow passages filled with islands, some so small they can only hold a cabin, others large enough for manor- like estates, right along the Canadian-US border.  We continue our journey and arrive in Niagara for a 2 night stay at the site of this raging waterfall.  (B)

DAY 8NIAGARA FALLS … A local guide boards our coach to show us the Floral Clock, the Whirlpool, Welland Canal, and both Rainbow and Horseshoe Falls.  Our cruise on the Horn Blower takes us right up to the raging Falls for a  magnificent view of this wonder of nature. Enjoy the remainder of the afternoon in the many shops, or try your luck in Canada's largest casino.  Dinner tonight is certainly a Highlight as we dine overlooking Niagara Falls in the Skylon Tower Restaurant. (B,D)
