DAY 4 …  RANCH AT UCROSS … Leaving the Black Hills and South Dakota behind, we enter the rugged "Cowboy State" of Wyoming, with antelope grazing peacefully along the roadside. Keep your eyes open to catch a view of Devils’s Tower, an amazing rock formation rising 5112 feet above sea level, 1267 feet from local terrain. Later in the afternoon, we arrive at our Guest Ranch, nestled in the mountains beside Piney Creek. The RANCH AT UCROSS was once a corporate retreat for executives from Apache Oil, and now serves as a very upscale western resort.  Everyone can join one of the wranglers for an assisted horse back ride, or try your luck fishing in the lake or fly fishing in the creek, or even hiking to an old Indian site. You may want to just browse the gift shop. You will have time to settle into one of the cabins before the dinner bell sounds for a wonderful evening meal. Later the group can enjoy some time at the fire pit with a singing cowboy.  (B,D)

Crossing the Big Horn Mountains, we come to the tiny town of Cody, named after its most famous son, Buffalo Bill.  We'll visit the Buffalo Bill Museum and Historical Center, which has the finest collection of western paintings, firearms, and Indian artifacts in America.  (B,L)
