Highlights:  Holiday Dinner at the Deerpark Restaurant, Candlelight Tour of the Biltmore, Biltmore Winery, Blue Ridge Parkway Visitor's Center, Sunday Brunch at the Grove Park…All Meals

DEC 1…One of our most popular Holiday Tours…the Biltmore Estates of the Blue Ridge Mountains and Asheville, North Carolina certainly offers a spectacular celebration of this festive season.  And what a wonderful way to experience the “holiday spirit” on this Yuletide Tour as you will travel in style to witness the Christmas finery during a Candlelight Tour of the 250 room French Renaissance Chateau of George Vanderbilt.  We make an early departure that assures our group of an afternoon visit to the Estate’s Winery.  Highlights are many as we have reservations for the Holiday Dinner at the Deerpark Restaurant on the estate of the Biltmore, with tables stacked with mouth-watering foods.  And certainly the featured attraction of the evening is a Candlelight Tour…the soft glow of candles reflecting on 35 trees twinkling with colorful lights, vintage Victorian ornaments, festive decorations, choirs singing carols, and row upon row of bright red poinsettias.  (L,D)

DEC 2…Breakfast, and there is no rush as you enjoy the first meal fo the day before we go to the newly opened Blue Ridge Parkway Visitor's Center for an interesting visit.  Lunch is a special treat as we are guests at the fabulous Grove Park Inn.  This “Grand” hotel of the mountains, dressed in all it’s Yuletide splendor…with more than 50 festively decorated trees, a display of home-made gingerbread houses, huge fireplaces with logs aglow…is splendid at this time of year!  Reservations are set for the fabulous Sunday Brunch, with tables full of delicious food to tempt you at every turn.  Later we return home after a wonderful experience.
