AUG 15 …   LANCASTER CO … Today we continue northward, skirting Washington, DC, and continue into Pennsylvania. Arriving in Lancaster County, our group enjoys a matinee musical performance at the American Music Theatre… BRITAIN’S BEST!  This show presents the music of so many amazing British artists with this LIVE musical event showcasing talented singers and dancers from around the globe. Be entertained by the hits from music greats: The Beatles, Elton John, Dusty Springfield, The Rolling Stones, Shirley Bassey, Peter Gabriel, Phil Collins, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, Adele and MANY MORE! Dinner at an Amish Restaurant tonight. (B,D)

AUG 16WEST POINT … Breakfast and departing Pennsylvania we travel into New York along the Hudson River Valley. Our afternoon highlight is a visit to West Point. Here we meet a guide for a most interesting and inspirational tour of the United States Military Academy. Overnight in the area. (B)

AUG 17 …  MARTHA’S VINEYARD … New England, that part of our country with such a distinctive accent and unique customs, and we are a part of the experience. Today we ferry to Martha’s Vineyard.  Landing at Oaks Bluff, you will have time for lunch in town before we begin our tour.  A popular resort and vacation spot for the wealthy, “The Vineyard” has a relaxed atmosphere despite having been a center for the shipping and whaling industries.  Our tour by local bus shows us the cranberry bogs and picturesque cottages of the island’s inhabitants.  Later, we return to the mainland to Hyannis for 3 nights on Cape Cod. (B,D)

AUG 18 … OLE CAPE COD … Today we take the most scenic drive out to the very tip of the crooked-finger strip of  land that forms the Cape to Provincetown.  It was here that the Pilgrims first landed (not in Plymouth as many believe) and we’ll see the Pilgrim Monument, a 252 foot tower commemorating their arrival.  We have time to stroll among the many shops, restaurants, and art galleries that line the main street. Tonight, how about an authentic old-fashioned New England Clambake with a bowl of that world famous “chowdah”!  (B,D)

AUG 19NANTUCKET … Thirty miles offshore lies Nantucket, probably the most famous of the Cape islands.  Its cobblestone main streets, small lanes, and clapboard houses date from the days when whaling ruled the seas.  An artists’ colony holds outdoor exhibits almost year-round, band concerts are a frequent event, and a carnival-like atmosphere is an everyday affair!  You’ll have time to stroll the many shops, restaurants, the Whaling Museum, & along the harbor for a relaxing day in the pleasant August weather. (B)

AUG 20 … PLYMOUTH & BOSTON … Breakfast and we depart the Cape and make our way to historic Plymouth for a chance to witness the place where the Pilgrims arrived in 1620.  A local guide will join the group for narration of the many historic sights along the “Freedom Trail” in Boston. Farewell Dinner tonight to celebrate a wonderful trip. (B,D)

AUG 21 … This morning we transfer to the airport for our direct flight back to Savannah. (B)
