Gators & Geraniums
We drive to Okefenokee Swamp Park, named by the Native Americans as the “Land of the Trembling Earth.”. The park’s lily-decked water trails, with their miraculously reflective waters mirroring the overhanging beauty, lead to all points in this vast wilderness of islands, lakes, jungles, forest and prairies. Our group will have time to enjoy a Boat tour on original Indian waterways, the walkways, see native animals in their own habitat, and enjoy a wild-life show. Later we enjoy lunch before riding to the County Plant Farm with green houses full of blooming flowers of many varieties. Everyone receives a hanging basket or plant and can purchase flowers at a discounted price.
